There's not a whole lot to report.
Zoe weighs 11 lbs now and is still in the 90% for length at almost 24 inches. She recently had only one feeding in an 11 hour window overnight, we love this. Although it still seems that we have a great night with lots of sleep then a little more of a difficult night. So she is by no means consistent, but we're working on it. She is starting to fall into a napping routine, I've allowed her to create that for herself. I'm learning her sleepy signs (rubbing her eyes, glazed eyes, not moving and looking away from stimulus) and then I rock her and put her down. Sometimes she lets me put her down in her crib, other times she protests and she naps on me or in her new bouncey chair. We have also been able to distinguish her cries, her 'hungry' cry is very distinct and makes it so much easier to feed her on her schedule rather than an hourly schedule.
Ok...I lie...apparently there are two new things to report that will be evident by these pictures.
1.) Zoe got a new hat and, personally, I think it's the cutest darn thing ever. The only thing that makes it cuter is Zoe!
2.) I'm not sure why I was so anti bouncy chair, but a light bulb went of recently. When I want to calm her, or put her to bed, what motion do I use? Yep, a bounce. No wonder everyone has one of these things! I am really not fond of the totally pepto-pink color, but for $10 you can't bet it. (and I figured if she hated it, I could just donate it back to the used baby item store) But, as I thought, she LOVES it!! As it turns out, I love it too. It's like having another pair of hands...I can make dinner, take a shower, and clean AND she's happy. I think I have to remind myself to not leave her in it all day and to actually give her mommy loves :)

Am I right, or am I right?! Cutest darn thing ever!
Yep I'm right
can't get enough
Pepto-pink...but she loves it! She also love snuggling with the blanket Janal made her.
SARAH to the rescue!!!! For John's birthday we went to Sycamore Hot Springs for a soak, but it couldn't have happened without Sarah so willing to babysit! She even said that Zoe almost brought her to tears when they had a full fledged smile session. Sarah is officially Auntie Sarah as the only other person beside John, my mom and me who have feed her. Thanks Sarah!!!
Ok....so EVERYONE says this is such a no-no, NEVER put your baby down to sleep on her tummy. So I've resisted, even though I knew she'd sleep so much better....have you seen all our tummy to tummy naps on the couch? Besides, ask your mom how you slept, bet it was on your tummy and we're all still alive. So one day I decided to try it for a nap, she slept for an hour and a half. So this is her nap time position, still can't do it for night, too scared. But really, how stinkin' cute is this little butt up position!!
Here's that nap time tummy to tummy we both love so much!
Zoe's lap dog (doesn't he look huge?)
Bodie's dad, Jesse munching on a plain potato...weird. Star, Jesse, Bodie, Zoe and I went on a hike.
Hurley stays in bed longer and longer these days, enjoying every moment of under the covers cuddling.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
yay, bouncy chair!
Twinsies....Ginger and I go on our first run together with our babies.
Did I say how much I love this hat!!! So dang cute!!
Yum!
Kind of looks like she fell out of the sky...SPLAT!
Dreaming....she smiles, laughs (yes laughs), rolls her eyes back in her head, moans, rubs her eyes, raises her hand, all in her sleep. What ever do babies dream about?
Yes, totally riveting video...bouncing in the bouncy chair.

You are totally right about the hat. Now you have to buy me one if we have a girl. :-)
