

First order of business: surfing. Our first day we found out where the waves were, rented us some long boards and rode some small Hawaiian waves. After 5 hours of surfing, my arms were limp and my ass was burnt to a crisp. It was totally worth it though, because had we not gone first thing, we have not surfed at all. The waters were flat and the surfers jonesen.

I think we both walked around on cloud nine the night we got engaged. After having a great dinner and doing a little shopping we walked the moonlit path along the softly crashing waves to our fancy hotel.
We went on a Pacific Whale Foundation snorkeling eco-tour. If you’re ever in Maui looking for some snorkeling go with this company. We learned a ton about the sea life, their crew were all very knowledgeable about marine biology. They gave mini lessons and in-the-water snorkeling tours. It’s a green business so everything is used with a reuse and recycle mentality. They are a non-profit, money is used for marine animal protection.
Molokini, a sunken crater, was our first stop. It was a little windy and rough but still lots of colorful and interesting tropical fish. Then we visited
